SUMMARY
"Biker
Chef" is a cooking show concept with
wide appeal. Its fresh and irreverent style
will attract a core cult audience that'll
spread the word to a broader fan base. The
cooking elements are layered; there is the
hybrid improv style of the Biker Chef's dishes
for the adventurous viewer as well as the
more earthbound qualities of the different
Specialist Cook recipes. The show will unfold
visually as a travelogue, taking the audience
to different regions of the country and exploring
the unique food culture therein. There's a
lot of potential in this concept we are just
beginning to appreciate. The creative ideas
inherent in the term 'Biker Chef' seem to
hold an immediate appeal. We're taking divergent
but familiar elements of pop culture and crossbreeding
them into a different kind of beast. In truth,
the Biker Chef is not your Hell's Angel type
of biker and he's not your Emeril type of
chef. He's an opportunity for Cooking Television
to roar into a new area of dramatic expression.
